Job Description

The Wholesale Lending Banking Technology Site Reliability Engineering team is seeking an Application Support Analyst to provide Non-Production Application Support in a fast-paced multi-application environment. This candidate will interact with Business Partners, Application teams and Infrastructure partners across the enterprise.

This is not a developer role, though understanding and abilities gained through development experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

Candidate will provide support for business and technical issues related to applications, databases and/or other technical products and services.

Candidate will ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our non-production environments is maintained.

Candidate must be pro-active, organized with ability to multi-task. Individual will be responsible for recognizing and understanding problems, bringing issues to resolution, and escalating as necessary to meet timelines.

Candidate will develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.

The candidate will have good communication skills, and be able to interact with the customer, clarify the underlying problem, and work to resolve the issue to the customer\xe2\x80\x99s satisfaction.

Monitor non-production environments for issues and proactively identify areas for improvement.

Document and communicate all issues along with resolution. Document and publish support processes as needed.

Work with business partners and application teams to develop and maintain Service Level Agreements.

Collaborate with development teams, QA teams, and other support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Candidate will help establish environment checklists and eventually help automate the checklist for SOD(start of day) and SOW(start of week) smoke tests.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in non-production environment support, preferably in a large-scale environment.

Experience with Unix/Linux & Windows operating systems, scripting languages, and application servers.

Knowledge of database systems, such as Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server

Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred
