The Department and Position
The position is within the Capital Markets IT (CMI) division which manages information systems for capital markets activities which includes Front Office (FO) booking platforms, Risk Management (RM) control and regulatory reporting systems, financial product and contract valuation systems, and much more.
Run the bank is the first mission of IT department. It involves many front line IT professionals who understand the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems.They are continuously working with business users, infrastructure engineer and system managers.
CMI teams are mainly located in Paris, London, New-York, Hong-Kong, India, Singapore and Montreal. Current position is based out of Singapore and the successful candidate will be able to work in an international context with distributed engineering teams striving for highest quality architecture and design.
The candidate will join the Singapore Capital Market Run the bank team in charge of running capital markets applications for SALES.
Main Responsibilities
Application monitoring responsibilities
xc2xb7 Define and implement in coordination with the build team the needed application monitoring.
xc2xb7 Supervise and monitor daily and monthly chains and handle user request by working closely with project, infrastructure and production teams.
xc2xb7 Support overnight batches which take place during the Singapore Morning and early afternoon time to ensure that problems are swiftly analyzed and resolved to minimize down-time.
xc2xb7 Process and issue daily, weekly and monthly reporting on data quality of risk chain in which the activity is usually more intense on monthly run.
Incidents and Requests management (business users and others IT teams)
xc2xb7 Provide level 1 and level 2 application support to business users (trader, risk manager, market risk monitoring operator, back-office and middle-office analyst, market data administrator,xe2x80xa6)
xc2xb7 Analyze and manage incidents/problems/requests.
Problem management and continuous improvement
xc2xb7 Prepare and maintain knowledge base for each of the application in the scope of the team in coordination with the build team and the ops team.
xc2xb7 Collaborate with build team to assess the priority of the problem and follow-up the resolution, even contributing to the definition of long term solution.
xc2xb7 Provide non-functional requirement to the build team to implement monitoring as code whenever available.
The Support analyst should have a pro-active mindset in security, incident preventive measures, productivity and global improvement of the quality of service. Candidate should have a strong appetite in the capital market functional business.

xc2xb7 Minimum 5 years experience in application support activity (in capital markets IT is a plus)
xc2xb7 ITIL certification
xc2xb7 Good understanding of Capital Markets Domain and Exposure to Capital Market FO/BO systems
xc2xb7 Understanding of trade life cycle, financial products (Treasury, FX, Bonds, Credit, IRDxe2x80xa6)
xc2xb7 2+ years experience with IT applications handling valuation, reconciliations, payments and confirmations.
xc2xb7 Proven experience in technical proficiency with strong skills in SQL
xc2xb7 High level of proficiency in unix/linux scripting.
xc2xb7 Should be able to do
o SLA & KPI management, client communication & interaction
o Predictive analysis, consulting, escalation management
xc2xb7 Appetite for continuous improvement and automation.
xc2xb7 Strong knowledge in XML, PL/SQL, MQ, CFT and Control-M
