About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Application Support Engineer with 1-4 years of experience to join our team on a 12-month contract.





The role will be based at a leading bank's premises in Alexandra, Singapore.





You'll be responsible for supporting output management systems and application platforms within a dynamic Windows environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide L1/L2 support for output management systems (e.g., report delivery, printing, archival) Troubleshoot and resolve output/reporting issues across systems and user groups Perform basic scripting and automation using PowerShell or Windows batch Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system requirements and deployments Participate in application and operational projects related to output/reporting tools Maintain documentation and manage incident tickets using ITSM tools like BMC Remedy

Requirements:

1-4 years of experience in application support or system operations Good understanding of Windows OS and basic scripting (PowerShell, Windows batch) Familiarity with SQL and at least one programming language (VB, .NET, or C#) Exposure to enterprise tools like Control-M and Remedy (good to have) Strong problem-solving and communication skills Willingness to learn output/reporting tools (training will be provided)
