Job Description


  • Ensure the integrity and readiness of production systems within the Payment System team for the APAC region.
  • Provide Level 2 support and troubleshoot production incidents, including critical system interfaces within the Payment System.
  • Assist the Incident Manager by identifying and implementing preventive and detective measures, while delivering root cause analysis for production issues.
  • Collaborate with the IT Planner to achieve project objectives, facilitating production transitions for new system launches and system change requests.
  • Identify process gaps and propose system improvements accordingly.
  • Develop and standardize processes, ensuring integration, implementation, and documentation align with established standards.
  • Recommend and implement suitable processes for automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Lead and coordinate projects, including support for change requests. Conduct requirement analysis to facilitate system enhancements, fixes, and emergency application changes.
  • Escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders promptly.
  • Participate in disaster recovery exercises, contributing to system restoration efforts.
  • Organize and lead regular meetings with developers and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Application or System Support, preferably within a banking or financial institution.
  • Possesses hands-on experience in supporting payment systems.
  • Experienced in an Enterprise Application Support environment, collaborating with developers, infrastructure teams, service desks, and business users.
  • Has functional expertise in payment systems such as GIRO, FAST, CTS, MEPS+, overseas and domestic remittances, internet banking, and customer eAdvices.
  • Demonstrates technical proficiency in applications hosted on both Windows and Linux platforms, with the ability to perform database queries (SQL Server, Oracle) and manage application services on these systems.
  • Skilled in scripting languages, including DOS and Shell scripting.
