Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

The Architect will be responsible for implementing an Enterprise Content Management solution using the Appworks platform, assisting customers with installations and configurations of the solution. The Architect will be leading the effort in understanding customer requirements, advising customers on solution options and working closely with Appworks consultants. They will be responsible for bringing their expertise to the customer situation during the requirements gathering, design and development of the software. Will also apply business skills and consulting methodologies to collect and analyze data. Should be keen on enhancing the knowledge on the latest versions of Appworks features. Should be keen to learn about other Appworks-connected OT products.

Solution Design & Development:

Understand business requirements and design AppWorks-based architectures to meet client needs.

Developed and program complex modules using AppWorks, Angular, Java, and Entity Modeling.

Provide high-level work estimates, task planning, and allocation.

o Implementation & Integration:

o Lead the installation, configuration, and customization of AppWorks for enterprise clients.

o Ensure seamless integration with ERP, EAI, BPM, and other enterprise applications.

o Optimize performance and scalability of implemented solutions.

o Code Quality & Best Practices:

o Take ownership of code quality and conduct thorough code reviews.

o Implement defect prevention strategies and ensure adherence to best practices.

o Mentorship & Leadership:

o Guide and mentor junior engineers, providing technical direction and knowledge-sharing.

o Stay updated on latest AppWorks features, technologies, and standards.

o Client Engagement & Consulting:

o Work closely with customers to gather requirements, advise on best practices, and drive successful solution adoption.

o Act as a subject matter expert on OpenText AppWorks and related technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: BE/ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Tech Experience: 10+ years in ECM and AppWorks implementations

Must-Have Skills:

AppWorks / Process Suite, Open Text (Mandatory, 10+ years) Angular or Entity Modeling Java, JDBC, AJAX, XML, OOAD

Technical Knowledge:

Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) W3C Standards & Web 2.0 Technologies Object-Oriented Design & Development Enterprise Applications (ERP, EAI, BPM) Database Modeling & Optimization Network Architecture & Security Software Development Methodologies Hands on work experience on Appworks and Angular Or Entity modeling is mandatory Hands on work experience on Sun Java, JDBC, AJAX, XML, OOAD is mandatory. Knowledge of the existing Appworks product portfolio, associated technologies and standards is desirable and would be an asset. The Architect possesses in depth technical knowledge on: Service Oriented Architecture W3C standards Object Orientation Platforms (.Net, Java, J2EE) Web 2.0 technologies Various types of enterprise applications (e.g. ERP, EAI , BPM) Databases, data modeling Network architectures and security Software development methodologies
