Your Role

To work with design team members to carry out and complete architectural design on projects. Responsible for design and development of projects from concept to construction documentation stages of work. Ensuring production of design documents are in concert with the design intent. Resolves technical/design issues. Coordinates activity and communication between design team and other disciplines. Knowledge of architectural principles and practices locally and in the region.

What You Will Do

The Architectural Designer ensures that marketing efforts successfully achieve several objectives, including:
  • Work closely with Design Director, Studio Director, Design Manager, Design team to develop architectural design from concept stage to construction documentation.
  • Support preparation of conceptual designs, space plans, presentations, design development.
  • Coordinate with Design/Technical team and Project/Design Manager(s).
  • Coordinate with client team, project manager, construction manager and others to develop design deliverables.
  • Responsible for coordination and quality control of design and construction documents.

  • Support project sustainability targets throughout project phases and actively engage in delivering them.

  • Study sustainable design strategies in every project stage and investigate solutions to sustainable design challenges

  • Work collaboratively with the team to optimize sustainability performance through design iterations and research.

  • Engage in climate focused analysis and studies for each project.

  • May be assigned to assist with other ad-hoc projects.


Your Qualifications
  • 2 years professional experience as Architectural Designer, involving with local and regional projects.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Masters / Bachelor degree in Architecture or design related field
  • Strong design experience in mixed-use projects will be advantage.
  • Team player \xe2\x80\x93 reliable, flexible and helpful.
  • Positive learning attitude and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge in sustainable design principles required.

  • LEED, WELL, Fitwel, LFA or other rating systems accreditation preferable

  • Demonstrate a collaborative and integrated approach towards achieving high sustainability project goals.

  • Motivated to grow knowledge and experience in sustainability on a personal and a team level.


Your Design Technology Qualifications

Essentials

  • Deep knowledge and experience in Autodesk Revit for design authoring, documentation, data extracts and project delivery.

  • Deep understanding of and experience in Rhinoceros for design authoring.

  • Familiarity and some experience with Computational Design applications such as Grasshopper and/or Dynamo.

  • Familiarity with Performance Design software such as Autodesk Insight, Sefaira, Diva, and/or Ladybug tools.

  • Deep understanding of Real-Time Visualization development within the context of BIM, specifically in the use of Enscape and/or Twinmotion with Revit and Rhino.


Desirable

  • Experience in collaboration within the BIM context, including cloud-based markups, consultant coordination and clash detection.

  • Experience in strategic planning, setup of BIM projects, and troubleshooting, specifically in the context of Revit and allied workflows.

  • Understanding of the capabilities and application of Information Management tools such as Aconex, Asite, Newforma, etc.

  • Working knowledge in the use of VR walkthroughs and panoramas for client presentations, consultant coordination and internal design reviews.

  • Understanding of the interoperability workflows between the various design tools throughout all the stages of a project.
