The Architecture Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the coordination, execution, and quality of architectural works, ensuring compliance with design intent, technical specifications, and project schedules. This role involves close collaboration with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve design conflicts, manage materials, and maintain construction excellence.
Supervise and ensure progress and quality of all architectural works on site.
Assist the Project Manager in scheduling, calling quotations, and selecting subcontractors and materials.
Review and ensure drawings reflect accurate site conditions, client requirements, and consultant amendments; prepare supplementary sketches and drawings when necessary.
Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and M&E drawings to identify and resolve design conflicts.
Liaise with consultants to address discrepancies and communicate variations or design changes to the Project Manager and Contracts team.
Ensure correct construction sequence, alignment, levels, and set-out for all architectural trades.
Support the Site Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager in identifying material requirements (e.g., tiles, finishes) for procurement and supplier selection.
Plan and manage the timely delivery and storage of architectural materials in coordination with the Project Manager.
Conduct regular coordination meetings with subcontractors to monitor work progress and resolve site issues promptly.
Plan and assign duties to architectural supervisors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
