Job Responsibilities :
The Art Director will be part of Razer's Ad Team under the 3D Production sub-team, leading the creative direction, quality, and execution of high-fidelity 3D assets, animations, and product storytelling that power Razer's global advertising campaigns across hardware, lifestyle, and gaming gear. Reporting to the Associate Director, Advertising, this role will mentor a team of 3D Motion Designers while also contributing hands-on execution. Collaborating closely with Copywriters, the Post-Production team, Product Evangelists, and cross-functional teams, the Art Director ensures Razer's 3D content continues to set world-class standards in creativity and innovation.

• Lead and develop high-quality 3D key visuals and animations that showcase Razer products across campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives.
• Work closely with the Associate Director, Advertising to align creative execution with campaign strategy and brand vision.
• Partner with Post-Production and Copywriting teams to ensure visual and narrative cohesion across campaigns.
• Collaborate with Product Evangelists to understand product positioning and translate features into impactful creative storytelling.
• Provide both leadership and hands-on execution in 3D asset creation, animation, and rendering for trailers, launch films, and brand content.
• Set the creative direction for 3D deliverables, ensuring alignment across the Ad Team's Copywriting and Post-Production sub-teams.
• Review, guide, and approve work from Motion Designers and Video Editors, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to Razer's brand identity.
• Take ownership of high-priority 3D projects, managing them from concept through delivery under tight deadlines.
• Manage the 3D team's workload and incoming requests, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet deadlines.
• Identify and resolve creative and technical challenges while driving innovation in 3D workflows, tools, and techniques.
• Recommend and implement improvements to 3D production pipelines, rendering processes, and asset libraries to optimize efficiency and elevate output.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in 3D motion design, animation, and rendering to maintain Razer's leadership in creative innovation.

Pre-Requisites :

• 7+ years of professional experience in 3D motion design, animation, or related creative fields.
• Proven experience with a strong portfolio of 3D key visuals, animations, storyboards, and cinematic storytelling.
• Strong proficiency in Cinema 4D, Redshift, and Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of shaders, textures, lighting, VFX, camera animation, and modelling techniques.
• Excellent grasp of animation principles, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Proven ability to balance hands-on design execution with mentoring and project leadership.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with experience aligning cross-functional stakeholders including product and marketing teams.
• Ability to manage the 3D Production team's workload and incoming requests, prioritizing effectively under tight deadlines.
