Role summary

We are looking for an art director who will play a crucial role in developing and executing the creative vision of the brand. You will work closely with our in-house creative team of a brand strategist/copywriter and social media executive, inspiring the team to push the boundaries of design that aligns with the brand\xe2\x80\x99s goals. More than being someone who\xe2\x80\x99s adept at the technicalities of design, you will help enhance the brand\xe2\x80\x99s visual identity, storytelling and executions.

• Lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of design projects for a wide range of mediums (Webpage, social media, packaging, visual merchandising etc.)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations, etc.) to ensure the design work supports the broader business objectives
• Stay up-to-date with visual trends and innovative technologies, continuously pushing the visual boundaries of the brand
• Work closely with the creative team to present visual concepts and pitch breakthrough ideas to the broader team
• Creation of social media, campaigns and other digital assets when required
  • Graphic design for digital properties
  • Basic photography and videography, and editing skills for social media
  • Illustration (good to have)

Experience / Attributes

• 2+ years of experience in a creative design role
• A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to lead and execute on creative projects, with a focus on innovative design and visual storytelling (Please provide upon application)
• Hands-on design, follow through to the production of the deliverables, with a deep understanding of the working processes
• Strong understanding of e-commerce and social platforms such as Instagram and TikTok
• Great design skills, including layout, typography and video. Illustrations are a bonus!
• Proficient in photo/video editing and use of graphic/ video editing tools (eg. Adobe Lightroom/ Photoshop/Aftereffects/Premiere Pro)
• A love for home products and great designs will be a big plus!
