Lead the studio\xe2\x80\x99s art capabilities to be among the industry front- liners
Facilitate communication between different art disciplines like Concept Art, 3D, Design and Tech Art.
Define the look of game elements in terms of concept, 3D, VFX in the desired style of the IP.
Help mentor and provide perspective for artists at various development levels.
Prepare art briefs, reference guides and style documentation for internal and external art teams.
Provide feedback on the realization of the game art to ensure high artistic quality is met.
Work together with external companies to ensure consistent style and quality.
Work with department leads and stakeholders to ensure art direction is in line with client requirement.
Involve in recruitment process, building and cultivate the growth of art team.
Able to offer technological solutions at the highest level.
Ability to maintain balance between the artistic vision, the game vision and technical feasibility.
Requirements
More than 10 years in the game development industry with at least 5 years as Lead or Art Director.
Experience working on shipped AAA title preferable.
Having a cinematic background is preferable.
Possess visionary outlook of technical trends and directions.
Strong ability to problem-solve.
Experience working in Maya, ZBrush and Substance Painter/Photoshop.
Possess good knowledge of next gen asset creation and its workflows, as well as a thorough understanding of the production pipeline, from prototyping stage to final product.
Experience in Unreal Engine a plus.
Very strong aesthetic sense in composition, shape, color and detail.
Good understanding of anatomy.
Great communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, team player with a positive attitude.
