AS/400 iASP (iseries) server technologies including planning and implementation of upgrades;


Responsibilities :-


AS/400 iASP (iseries) server technologies including planning and implementation of upgrades; OS400 security, BRMS backup, operations monitoring, alerting, data replication; 3rd party software like MQ, Thenon, Windows Menu, Robot products like Schedule, Alert Console; Plan / Review and implement OS, PTFs and 3rd party software upgrades;
Requirements :


Experience in administration and troubleshooting of AS400 system i running on iASP model; Good knowledge of SQL, CL and MS Office Tools (including MS Access); Good knowledge in IBM DS8K storage and SAN switches, administration includes global and metro mirror; Good knowledge in TCP/IP protocols; Knowledge in ACS client installation and setup;. SKLM and spectrum control; Experience in iASP environment with Power HA, Admin Domain and copy services; Knowledge of AS400 networked systems, access and security guidelines and procedures; Knowledge of network hardware and software troubleshooting techniques; Experience in ITIL processes; Troubleshooting skills for data, application/system performance problems by utilizing tools like IBM iDoctor, DBMON Traces and Job watcher. Must be able to work as part of a BAU project support & Infra teams; Must be able to multitask and management of multiple initiatives when required; Willing to work after office hours, weekends for deployment activities when required.
