Regional Commercial Director - Asia
Based in Singapore / Bangkok / Hong Kong
Argyll Scott is retained by a high-growth, health-focused food & beverage company to look for an experienced Asia Regional Commercial Director to lead the next phase of Asia expansion.
You'll own the commercial agenda across Southeast and North Asia - from full P&L and modern trade execution to distributor transitions and new market entry. This is a hands-on leadership role managing experienced in-market teams, shaping GTM strategy, and partnering with global to localise innovation and drive retail impact.
Key responsibilities

• Own full P&L across Asia - drive revenue, profitability, and commercial performance
• Expand distribution in supermarkets, hypermarkets, and convenience channels
• Lead experienced in-market commercial teams across SEA and North Asia
• Shape GTM plans, trade terms, and promotion frameworks for new and existing markets
• Oversee distributor strategy, from appointment and KPIs to transition and performance uplift
• Work with global to localise I&R (Innovation & Renovation) to meet market needs
• Align commercial plans with marketing, supply chain, and finance

Key requirements

• 20+ years in packaged food or beverages, ideally with experience in functional dairy or chilled products
• Deep track record in modern trade retail and distributor-led markets across Asia
• P&L ownership across multiple markets (not just single-country scope)
• Hands-on experience launching new brands or categories and building them to market leaders in Asia
• Strong people leader; credible with senior in-market teams and regional peers
• Background in both structured FMCG and growth-stage brands
