As the Senior Manager for Security Strategy and Operations, you will be the right hand to the AP Chief Security Officer, managing the intricate spectrum of the security portfolio, from data security and privacy to business continuity and crisis management. This position is essential in advancing our regional security agenda, championing strategic projects, and orchestrating the seamless administrative functioning of our Business Security Office.

Location: Australia preferred, but open across our Asia Pacific geographies for the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key liaison between the Chief Security Officer and regional security leaders, ensuring consistent communication and strategic alignment.
  • Oversee and respond to a range of operational tasks, including email queries, information requests, report preparations, and inter-departmental coordination.
  • Drive and manage strategic security projects across the region, working with diverse teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Coordinate and prepare content-rich, visually appealing presentations and reports that reflect the depth and breadth of our data governance portfolio.
  • Facilitate leadership meetings and engagements, ensuring productive dialogues and actionable takeaways.
  • Advocate and nurture a security-aware culture, emphasizing the importance of data security, privacy, and technology risk.

Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Law, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field - or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years in strategic roles within the domains of governance, risk management, data security, privacy, business continuity, crisis management, and technology risk.
  • Exceptional proficiency in written English communication.
  • Proven ability to influence, build consensus, and drive teams towards desired outcomes.
  • Exemplary organizational skills with a penchant for managing large projects and diverse teams.
  • Innate design sense, capable of crafting compelling presentations that convey complex information in an accessible format.
  • Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience across the domains of the security portfolio.
  • Aptitude for working across cultural boundaries, fostering collaboration, and building bridges
