In FY24 we are establishing the Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) Asia (for Field Integrated Marketing M6Marketing & Operations) regional team with the objective of engineering scale and consistency in areas including operations, customer and partner experience and Industry GTM.

The SE&O team plays an essential role translating Microsoft\xe2\x80\x99s commercial strategy to a regional execution plan and driving operational excellence through the prism of enabling consistency, agility, and accountability in Asia. Our team drives cross-functional insight and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact at scale.

The Central Marketing Organization (CMO) inspires, acquires, and engages Microsoft customers and partners by driving Connected Sales & Marketing for maximized business and societal impact. CMO accelerates the region\'s growth agenda through integrated marketing, creating marketing signals that generate pipeline, accelerate deals for sales, and delight our customers and partners, creating MS brand love.

The Microsoft Asia Regional Strategic Planning, Ops and Insights Lead is responsible for driving the strategic planning, operational efficiency, and actionable insights across CMO Asia. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans, driving both consistency and operational excellence, implementing process improvements, and monitoring key performance indicators to track progress and drive business success. Additionally, this role involves building strong relationships with stakeholders, presenting strategic plans, and providing leadership and mentorship to a team of professionals. The Microsoft Asia Regional Strategic Planning, Ops and Insights Lead plays a crucial role in shaping and executing the regional business strategy while driving continuous improvement and achieving key objectives.

This holistic team is responsible for implementing integrated marketing programs including those that drive demand generation through the Global Demand Centre (GDC), Global Engagement Programs (GEPs), or Account Based Marketing (ABM). Besides working closely with the CMO Asia Lead, regional VPs and Area leadership team, your professional partnership and network extends to Microsoft Corporate Headquarters specifically the Redmond Marketing leaders and stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

The ideal candidate will combine exceptional operational rigor with modern marketing experience, be a courageous leader, and a rapid adopter - taking and sharing leading practices from Redmond and peers around the world. You must enjoy ongoing challenges and occasional ambiguity, which you will navigate with agility and pragmatism. You will champion our global programs to deliver the best solutions for our customers to achieve more.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities:

Key Outcomes

  • Integrated Marketing Planning \xe2\x80\x93 You orchestrate & help formulate regional & local marketing strategy and integrated marketing plans aligned to business strategy and priorities. You develop trusted partnerships with regional & local leaders and stakeholders including Solution Area Leads, Sales, Communications, Finance, Business Operations and external teams (e.g. agencies of record) to establish the appropriate marketing plan.
  • Integrated Marketing Execution \xe2\x80\x93 You oversee and influence senior leaders and stakeholders to land the marketing plan. You drive a digital first culture.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making \xe2\x80\x93 You proactively develop strategic responses based on data to specific market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and/or trends. You drive change management and communication across senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Marketing Operations \xe2\x80\x93 You drive the importance of operational rigor, resilience, and accountability across team. You ensure adherence to global guidance and compliance standards (e.g., accessibility, privacy, security, company brand). You effectively manage complex escalations through strategic and targeted communications with C-level executives and deliver difficult messages as needed.
  • People Manager \xe2\x80\x93 You model, coach, care in your team\xe2\x80\x99s career development. You ensure your team has a shared understanding of business objectives and the work accrues to these objectives. You lead your teams through change and resolution of complex issues or blockers.
The successful candidate for the role will lead a regional team responsible for:
  • Developing strategic marketing plans for CMO Asia, ensuring alignment with global business engines & objectives, senior execs and local market dynamics
  • Build exceptionally strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment on regional initiatives
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams in the areas of strategic planning, operations, and insights
  • Drive operational excellence and process improvement initiatives to drive consistency and enhance efficiency & effectiveness across the regional organization
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and recommend corrective actions as needed
  • Prepare and present strategic plans, insights, and operational updates to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Manage budget allocation and resource planning
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform strategic planning and business decision-making
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and driving career development.
Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications :
  • 8+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field
Preferred Qualifications :
  • 15+ years B2B marketing in large complex ICT organizations. Deep experience in modern marketing (i.e. campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management as well as marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis)
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field
  • 8+ years people management experience.
