Job Description

:

• To ensure KPI target OTD to meet overall Assembly KPI set.
• Manage B-Part Store is fully function with proper Storage and sufficient stock parts.
• Managed Assembly Jig & Fixtures in Storage, contribute to design discussion on jigs.
• Responsible for the assembling of components being made into finished goods on a specific production line.
• Responsible for removing burr from parts with using the correct tools.
• Comply with quality requirements. Ownership on Assembly process to maintain guideline documents (WI) and train assembly team with step-by-step procedure.
• Always ensure full adherence to 5S practices. Set and maintain Assembly 5S procedure.
• Observe all safety regulations including personal protective equipment applicable to the use of electrical tooling and equipment applicable to chemicals.
• Ensure to cross check the Bill of Materials (BOMs) after assembling for missing items/ components.
• Support and contribute to products, process and production improvements.
• Meets and maintains quality and performance standards.
• Highlight to Planner on schedule of assembly on daily basis.

Requirements:

• Nitec in any discipline or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years\' experience in assembly operations.
• Possessing relevant experience in precision engineering would be an added advantage.
• Able to read and understand mechanical drawing.
• Required knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Good coordination & time management skills.
• Good communication skills, convey information effectively.
• Confidence in dealing/ solving issues.
• Team player and able to multitask.
