Sinochem International Oil (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., established in August 1990, is a critical international business platform for Sinochem Corporation's oil trading activities. Sinochem Corporation is a leading operator in the oil and chemical industry, providing agricultural inputs and modern agricultural services, and has a substantial presence in city operations and non-banking financial services. As an integral part of Sinochem, our Singapore office plays a pivotal role in global oil trading.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a 6-month Internship as an Assistant Accountant, located in Singapore. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, handling invoices, maintaining records, and assisting with audit processes. Additional tasks include data entry, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial analysis activities.

Qualifications

Basic accounting knowledge, understanding of financial statements, and familiarity with accounting software Accuracy and attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Previous internship experience in accounting or finance is a plus Proficient in English and Mandarin (daily work involves constant communications with headquarter and clients in China, and report written in Chinese).
