Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre
is looking for an
Assistant Accountant/Accountant
who is able to perform a variety of routine accounting duties to ensure correct reporting of revenues and costs, and/or timely receipt of monies owed to the hotel.
Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
Reviews and ensures that all accounting processes comply with IHG's CSA guidelines
To oversee finance sections on Accounts Payable, Cost Controller, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, Paymaster & General Cashier
Controls all balance sheet accounts by preparation of monthly account reconciliations and actions accordingly
Prepare & file GST returns
Assures internal control compliance
Manage internal and external audits when they occur
Ensure an accurate, timely and comprehensive set of accounts is maintained on all financial
transaction
Managing & coordinating the year-end process concerning audit timelines, financial statement preparation and submitting timely and accurately
Prepares relevant month-end journals and posting
Prepares the official check and entertainment check journals and posting.
Involving monthly beverage inventory.
Review and analyze/ investigate departmental expenses in monthly profit & loss
Assists in budget preparation and input, forecast reports and monthly reporting to corporate finance and owning company.
Prepares monthly Financial Statements for distribution to Department Heads and Executives
Prepares asset purchase/disposal report for owners
Maintain and monitor all maintenance contracts, agreements and licenses
Supervise accounts team in the daily operation work and closing
Creating new vendor and bank details in the accounting system and maintaining the vendor bank details.
