Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Assistant Accouting Manager

to oversee full financial operations, including regional accounting, costing analysis, tax compliance, and process improvements. This role is responsible for managing accounts for both the Singapore entity and its Vietnam subsidiaries, with a focus on operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a solid grounding in financial and management accounting, and prior experience in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the

full set of accounts

for operations in

Singapore and Vietnam subsidiaries

. Review and analyze product costing reports for manufacturing plants to support cost control and strategic decisions. Oversee transfer pricing documentation and processes between Singapore and other manufacturing sites in Asia. Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors on audit and tax matters, including identifying tax-saving opportunities. Handle GST submissions and liaise with external consultants for the renewal of Major Exporter Scheme (MES). Supervise the Accounts Payable function to ensure accuracy and timely vendor payments. Drive ERP system improvements and process automation to enhance accounting efficiency. Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development and performance excellence.

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in handle full set of accounts CPA qualification is an advantage. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector. Proven management or supervisory experience in account functions. Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax compliance, and transfer pricing. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Analytical and meticulous, with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across departments and regions. Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia.
