Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Accounts & HR department
  • Month and End-year process
  • Prepare payments via internet banking
  • Prepare full sets of accounts for several entities.
  • Doing daily Cash forecasting
  • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
  • Assist external Accountants in preparing the consolidated financial report.
  • Liaise with external Auditor for the annual audit
  • Prepare GST Submission and tax computation
  • Provide recommendations
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Meet financial accounting objectives
  • Oversee HR matters pertaining to AJAX Group of Companies
  • Assist in government related Grants matters for all companies
  • Other ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
  • Proven working experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to direct and supervise
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Remuneration shall be commensurate with experience
