Roles & Responsibilities ABC (Applied Behavior Consultants) Center Singapore is part of the global network of Applied Behavior Consultants, Inc, a USA-based network that has helped thousands of individuals with autism for over 30 years. Our expertise lies in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy. ABC Center is the only center in Singapore with Board Certified Behavior Analysts with expertise in the REAL (Recreating Environments to Accelerate Learning) method of ABA.
Assistant Behavior/Special Education Teachers at ABC Center are at the forefront of helping unlock the potential of children with autism.
The Assistant Behavior Therapist/Special Education Teacher is the entry level position, which implements the child's ABA (Applied BehaviorAnalysis) therapy/learning program, under the supervision of our Lead Technician, and using the overall program designed specifically for each child by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
Assistant Behavior Therapist/Special Education Teacher will work to help the child in all core areas - language skills, cognitive skills, gross and fine motor skills, socialization and play, behavior management, classroom and group skills.
Assistant Behavior Therapist/Special Education Teacher will be able to grow their skills in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, which is the most clinically proven to help children with autism, and is recognized by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the US Surgeon General and the Singapore Ministry of Health.
Skills and expertise in this field will allow for career growth. Training and supervision is in line with our global training program, and under the guidance of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
Assistant Behavior Therapists/Special Education Teacher must have a passion for helping individuals with autism. While background courses in psychology or education is preferred, specific knowledge in ABA therapy is not required, as successful candidates will undergo ABC Center's rigorous training program to learn ABA therapy.
