An exciting Assistant Brand Manager/Brand Manager job has just become available at a reputable and leading FMCG company. Based in Singapore and reporting into the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will drive marketing strategy and execution for the local market, while working with regional team to ensure brand strategies are aligned.

About the Assistant Brand Manager/Brand Manager Role:
In this business critical role, your primary goal will be to build and maintain a strong brand identity for the product portfolio. This involves defining the brand\'s positioning, target audience, and unique value proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop both long and short-term business plan and monitor results to achieve business growth
  • Ensure that marketing mixes are constructed and continuously improved to deliver marketing objectives
  • Review and evaluation of marketing activities and results versus objectives every quarter and make recommendations for changes if plan is not meeting objectives and/or change of competitive environment dynamics, etc.
  • Set targets and discuss with MM on KPI for new products launches and align with Country Manager and Regional Marketing Director
  • Continuously monitor performance of current products and propose portfolio changes if necessary
  • Work with packaging team to deliver new products in a timely manner o Ensure accurate forecasting of new products with sales team
  • Understand the target audience and their consumer journey; work with advertising and media agencies to develop brand campaigns including big idea, communications plan, campaign mechanics and effectively build the brand positioning and achieve brand/business objectives
  • Build the brand\'s social and digital presence and continue to enhance top of mind brand awareness and consideration in digital space, in partnership with a digital agency
  • Demonstrate experience in both traditional and digital marketing
  • Plan and execute e-commerce big hits and campaign activities for assigned official shop
  • Understand media behaviour in e-commerce and plan/execute traffic - drivers and in-app activities within assigned budget
  • Plan and implement all related trade promotion within portfolio from start and end with evaluation and make recommendations to improve (if necessary)
  • Spend brand M&P budget effectively as allocated
  • Analyse effectiveness and ROI of promotional activities
  • Develop distribution channel/coverage target planning along with the sales team
  • Propose price strategy considering brand positioning, consumer and competitor environment
  • Prepare key charts for the presentation together with MM/Country Manager
  • Submit and update various monthly reports every month
  • Effectively use Nielsen data for business analysis and recommendations
  • Track competitors\' activities and reaction plans monthly if needed
  • Manage inventory of assigned portfolio
  • Undertake any additional assignments and projects assigned by the Marketing Manager

Requirements
  • Degree holder in Business, Commerce or Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience in the FMCG industry. Experience in digital media and trade marketing is a bonus preferably with experience managing personal care category
  • Good analytical skills, positive attitude, willing to learn and is able to take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • Team player, self-motivated, independent and results-oriented
