Key Responsibilities:

Conduct applied research to develop new materials, processes, or systems aligned with company objectives. Design and execute experiments, prototypes, and validation tests. Analyse test data, summarize findings, and prepare technical reports or presentations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain) to transition research outputs into production-ready technologies. Stay current with emerging technologies, patents, and industry trends relevant to the company's core products. Develop and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and experimental records. Contribute to intellectual property development (e.g., patents, trade secrets). Assist in feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new technologies or design approaches. Support continuous improvement projects across R&D and manufacturing operations.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience, or fresh graduates with internship experience and a good attitude will be considered. Highly motivated and able to work independently Familiarity with laboratory equipment (GC, HPLC, spectroscopy, etc.) Willingness to work at 8 Tuas West (transportation not provided) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Knowledge of chemical safety and regulatory standards
