The role guarantees the protection of the consumer safety and manages the improvements of consumer experience and consumer satisfaction of Ferrero and Famous Amos products at country level, by spreading and promoting the Ferrero quality culture. The incumbent is responsible for implementing and monitoring quality/freshness improvement plans and for quality activities related to commercial logistics, trade/points of sales and consumer service.Main Responsibilities:Be the primary interface and reference point for the trade on all Famous Amos related businessContribute during forecasting, in order to maximize sales by ensuring quality/freshness, to manage reallocation of customer quantities, finding solution of specific critical aspects related to co-packing and transportation, managing fake products and para import in case there are quality issuesLead projects with freshness/quality improvement objective, support local functions for the Product Data Sheet requests, ensuring the correctness of the information, in cooperation with other relevant functionsManage quality related aspects in food, e.g. retail stores Pop Up stores, Flagship Stores or similarCooperate with Supply Chain team in warehouses and transport management regarding implementation of objectives, framework requirements, technical specifications and evaluation criteria defined by FSQSupports Supply Chain team in new warehouses scouting and selection, by ensuring that minimum quality standards are guaranteedSupport in contractual negotiations regarding the setting of quality/freshness conditions by deriving and monitoring minimum parameters to be ensured by logistics providers.Plan and perform audits, including remediation planning and follow-upContribute to the identification of initiatives regarding returns management for the optimization of stock management and correct identification and execution of destruction activities on returned productsMonitor Forecast Accuracy and Central Planning Service Level according freshness issuesCooperates with local business unit functions for co-packer related activities, within the scope assigned, and central team to oversee quality on commercial copackersSupport to report monthly and BU relevant time periods on overall quality performancesPromote quality KPIs system, monitor progress vs target for, Freshness, Transit time (gate-in, gate-out) , Value Chain Stock and Complaints (consumers and customers)Act as local point of reference for shelf-life optimization and harmonization according to FSQ indicationsProvide feedbacks regarding improvements quality specifications and methodsDrive projects/initiatives objectives and key strategies defined by the RQM for the country, keeping with commercial quality prioritiesContribute to identification of optimal timing quantity for sell-in, both at Ferrero and distributors/trade warehouse level and optimization of volumes (in case of promotions: orders rather than forecast, elimination of SKUs generating returns above certain limits)Manage withdrawal / recall process in accordance with relevant Group documentation and guidelinesSupport at local level, all necessary quality activities required for the certification of Promotional Items and ensure co-ordination of relevant functions.Support in maintaining and applying ID MUI Halal certificates for ID market boost plan, coordinate with Halal agency and Ferrero plants for the related workWho we are looking for:University degree in food science, food chemistry, analytical chemistryRelevant, sound and sustained commercial experience of FMCG (food) businessGood knowledge of the production technique and quality standards for food industry (e.g. ISO9000/9001, ISO22000, GMP, HACCP)Hands-on analytical experience, either in an analytical lab or in food manufacturer quality assurance department.
