The Opportunity

It is an opportunity for an experienced Assistant Compliance Officer to join their team

Office Location: OUE Downtown

The Job

Supports the Compliance Officer in the daily business of the bank and shall act as a proxy in case of absence of the Compliance Officer

This includes advisory of the front office regarding anti-money laundering obligations, monitoring of developments in financial sanctions, filing of suspicious transaction reports

Enhancement and amendment of internal policies and procedures

Communication with and reporting to MAS

Knowledge of the MAS regulatory framework (especially MAS Notice 626 or 1014) is preferable and expertise in the Singapore financial services sector required

Serves as the main contact person for the areas of Information Security, Operational Risk/BCM and Outsourcing and shall be the centralized contact person for these topics

This includes monitoring of the fulfilment of service level agreements incl. risk monitoring

Ensure the application and compliance of the information security framework of the bank

Assess and monitor the operational risk exposure of the bank

Acts as an intermediary between the General Manager / Compliance Officer of the bank and the headquarter in Frankfurt in the context of the framework agreements and operating models in the aforementioned areas

The Talent

Degree in Banking/Finance or in any related discipline

Minimally 2-3 years of compliance experience in the banking industry, with sound knowledge of MAS regulatory framework (MAS Notice 626 or 1014)

Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent stakeholder management skills

Knowledge of German is a plus
