Assistant Cook

to join our kitchen team and contribute to our growing restaurant.


Key Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards. Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company expectations. Assist in kitchen setup, food preparation, and daily operations. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area according to SFA and NEA standards. Monitor ingredient stock levels and inform the Head Chef or Manager for replenishment. Handle kitchen equipment and utensils properly and safely. Support the team during busy service hours and help ensure smooth workflow. Follow food safety procedures and proper storage methods.

Requirements



Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant or F&B establishment (Chinese cuisine experience preferred). Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards. Team player with a positive working attitude. Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and shift hours. Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
