• Credit risk and collection management in Asia Pacific including Australia, New Zealand
• Recommend and approve credit limits and payment terms through financial statement analysis, alongside consideration of macro-economic conditions, qualitative factors, deployment of risk mitigation measures, business potential, payment performance, trade references
• Engage stakeholders to understand go-to-market strategies, customize solutions to meet business needs while minimizing credit risk and review portfolio performance
• Work closely with business partners such as Legal, Operations, Treasury and Finance to implement risk mitigation strategies, resolve credit and collection issues

• Drive collections and recover bad debts to optimize AR performance
• Execute credit insurance policy and trade finance instruments and manage providers of risk mitigation tools
• Represent regional Credit department in corporate initiatives and system implementation projects
• Identify gaps in processes, recommend and manage initiatives to improve operational efficiency and meet corporate objectives, targets
• Perform regular reviews on customers, markets and countries
• Conduct customer visits when necessary to resolve credit issues and establish relationship
• Support reporting needs of department
• Ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned

Your Profile

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or related discipline
• Min. 8 years of credit analysis and collections management experience in a commodity trading/ manufacturing MNC or a bank
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, data analytics and building data visualizations and reports
• Ability to work in a challenging and dynamic multi-cultural environment; liaise with various stakeholders across different geographies and management levels
• Strong communication, presentation, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
• Committed, independent, analytical, driven, mature and effective team player
• Receptive to changes in responsibilities from time-to-time and willing to accept new challenges
• Open to after-office hours conference calls when required
• Open to travelling when required
