Position : Assistant/ Deputy Manager (Applications, Software Architect)

Department: Information Technology Services

Working Hours: Mon to Thu: 8.30am to 6pm; Fri: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Working location: Tampines Ave

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the implementation, delivery and operations of digital services, including ICT governance, budget management, application architecture and stakeholder engagement to achieve digital services transformation for the agency. . Provide experienced technical leadership and direction for digital services . Define application architecture framework for various components in the end-to-end digital solution and build architecture roadmap. . Review existing design and implement solutions for improvement from performance, security and usability perspective . Involved in procurement and vendor management. . Develop risk identification, quantification and mitigation plan. . Understand and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and guidelines in Infocomm Technology and Smart Systems Management defined by Singapore Government. . Prepare technical documentation and design, and conduct sharing sessions . Improve relevant work systems, processes and SOPs to achieve consistent results. . Good knowledge of next generation IT, such as cloud technology, IoT, data analytics, Singapore's Whole-Of-Government Central services, system architecture, etc.

Requirements:

• Relevant background in Computer Science/Computer Technology or equivalent. . Minimum 8 years of working experience in digital service implementation, IT outsourcing management and ICT security. . Hands-on experience across the spectrum of Web and mobile technologies, such as Microsoft .NET technologies (e.g. C#, ASP.NET MVC 5), HTML5, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle database management Printed Date: 26-May-22 PREREQUISITES system, Swift for iOS platform and/or Java for Android are essential. . Experience in using Agile methodology and design thinking in project implementation. . Hands-on experience in cloud technology on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, AI, Machine Learning, IoT, data science, etc is preferred. . Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. . Able to stay constantly updated with industry trends and new technologies and recommend new technology to meet architectural needs. . Able to work independently and communicate with different level in the organisation. . Understanding in deployment automation and CI/CD processes and toolchains will have added advantage. . Relevant application development, cloud computing and IT outsourcing certification will have added advantage. . Candidates with higher qualification and more years of experience will be considered for more senior positions.

Salary: $4,900 to $7,800/month (depending on qualifications & experience)
