Job Description


What the role is:We are looking for a driven and energetic self-starter who is passionate about championing sustainability among local enterprises. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and managing policies and programmes to build enterprise capabilities in sustainability. The work will also involve aspects such as data analytics, public communications, and policy and programme governance. The candidate will also undertake market research, including engaging industry stakeholders, to develop insights to inform policy design. The candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks.What you will be working on:Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the implementation of the Energy Efficiency Grant (EEG) and liaise with various agencies to ensure smooth roll-out including by serving as Secretariat to an inter-agency platform
2. Support the division in managing the operational aspects of the EEG, including the whitelisting process for equipment, governance checks, and responding to public queries.
3. Support the division in the operational aspects of the Enterprise Sustainability Programme, including reviewing programme parameters, evaluating partners\' performance, addressing public queries and processing partners\' claims.
4. Review the progress and performance of our programmes via data-driven approach. This involves collating and analysing data to develop insights for management, and inform future interventions.
5. Support the division\'s market research efforts, including industry engagement and reviewing data on global trends. This includes preparing regular reports highlighting trends and insights on sustainability and maintaining a list of resources for periodic reviews.What we are looking for:1. A driven and energetic self-starter who is passionate about championing sustainability among local enterprises. You should be resourceful, analytical and possess the ability to think critically.
2. Experience and background in sustainability-related fields will be advantageous. Otherwise, Business, Banking/Finance, Engineering or Technology related disciplines are also preferred.
3. Good negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage the multiple stakeholders involved in our work.
4. Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude.
5. Proficiency in data processing and analysis will be useful.
6. Prior experience in programme operations or related fields is a plus.Applicants will also be evaluated on their experience and interest to contribute to the public sector in an enterprise development role.
