Job Description

What the role is:
You assist Head Materials Planning Branch (Hd MPB) in developing concepts, plans and policies for Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF)'s material supply support operations.
What you will be working on:
- Drive the development of concepts, plans, and policies with regard to material supply support for RSAF operations - Serve as the RSAF Next Generation Procurement System (NGPS) Service Representative to oversee all NGPS related issues for RSAF - Identify potential areas for system enhancements and oversee NGPS account administration - Oversee freighting, licensing and export controls policies to support the full spectrum RSAF/SAF operations from peace to war continuum - Serve as Subject Matter Expert on RSAF shipment matters and RSAF representative to work with both internal and external organisations to ensure seamless and robust supply support - Develop and review material policies, doctrines and processes supporting the RSAF's supply chain Challenge(s) - Possessing in-depth knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain processes - Recommending new initiatives to improve the supply chain system - Keeping abreast of the commercial/military aviation industries' best practices and IT technology and studying the applicability of such practices to RSAF supply chain - Working independently under pressure with tight deadlines
What we are looking for:
- Education in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field - At least 6 years of working experience in the relevant field - Good strategic thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills - Meticulous and able to multi-task - Competent in using Microsoft Office applications (adept in MS Word and Excel) - Knowledge in using SAP will be preferred Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
