The Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales, directs the day-to-day activities, driving corporate sales, maintaining client relationships and achieving revenue goals. Strategic planning, team leadership, business development and strong communication skills to ensure the success in corporate market segment.

  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Assist Director of Sales in developing and implementing strategic sales plans, detailing sales distribution plans, trade shows and other promotional opportunities to meet the hotel\'s overall strategic plan. Monitor sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage and sales priorities as necessary to achieve plan goals.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients. Responsible for SMART contracting of all RFP accounts to ensure optimum yielding during annual rate negotiations. Conduct sales visits, product presentations (including virtual sessions) and site inspection to drive business acquisitions.
  • Business Development and Sales Performance: Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand industry trends and adapt sales strategies. Develop and execute targeted sales initiatives to attract new corporate accounts and expand clientele base. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to provide recommendations to optimize sales strategies and processes.
  • Networking and Industry Engagement: Represent and Attend trade shows, industry events and corporate networking functions. Share with team about industry trends, market conditions and competitors\' activities to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong collaboration and communication with inter-departments. Coordinate and ensure alignment of sales efforts to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Participate in weekly sales meeting, weekly Revenue meeting and quarterly review.
  • Maintain professional business confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Hotel Management or Tourism
  • Minimum 4 years\' experience within the hospitality, services or travel related industry
  • Hands on, driven & self-motivated
  • Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative in formulating tactical and strategic sales roadmap for the team
  • Team player, strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Take responsibilities, engage and own challenges
