What the role is:You assist in the administration of the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) security governance framework, including audit and governance, as well as education and investigations.What you will be working on:You govern security compliance through planning, coordinating and conducting security audits and inspections, and enforcing security policies, directives and instructions across the units within the DIS to build a strong security culture. Your challenge lies in keeping abreast of the myriad of security policies developed and amended by the different security domain SMES. You must be able to contextualise these policies to the unique operating environment of DIS units. Additionally, you need to engage a wide range off stakeholders and be receptive to feedback and ground constraints. Lastly, you need to be able to achieve a fine balance between policy demands and ground practice, to ensure that security measures remain viable in the long-run.What we are looking for:You must have a tertiary qualification, with 6 years\' relevant experience, preferably in the security domain. Possession of certifications in security/investigations-related fields, such as the Certified Protection Professional-ASIS, WSQ Diploma in Security, or Professional Diploma in Security Consultancy, is advantageous. Having effective communications skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations is also required.
