What the role is:

You will play a critical role in PUB\'s deployment of Floating Solar Photovoltaics (PV) Farms on our reservoirs. In this particular position, you will be a key driver in executing projects for the deployment of Floating Solar PV Farms on PUB raw water reservoirs. The workscope mostly involve project and contract management as well as interacting, liaising and working with various stakeholders:

What you will be working on:

• Work with consultants and various internal and external stakeholders including government agencies and NGOs, to develop the engineering design of the solar PV farms. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with consultants and various internal stakeholders to prepare agreements and relevant tender documents. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare, call and evaluate tenders, and perform all necessary internal processes up to the successful award of contracts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee construction, testing & commissioning of the Floating Solar PV deployments; closely tracking progress of the works and helping to overcome challenges where required. \xe2\x80\xa2 During the construction period, work with internal stakeholders to carry-out enhanced water quality monitoring, and coordinate works within and around the reservoirs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with internal departments for continued engagement of external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to address concerns related to the Floating Solar PV deployments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Upon the operation of the solar PV farms, track and maintain oversight of the performance of the solar farm and ensure contractual compliance with all agreements and requirements.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Power Engineering or Environmental Engineering. Degree in other Engineering disciplines can be considered for candidates with sufficient relevant experience (below). \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in project management, project consultancy works, liaison with government agencies, Solar PV systems and/or Environmental Impact Assessments/Studies would be advantageous. \xe2\x80\xa2 Independent and self-driven team player with strong communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for subsequent contract renewal.
