The Assistant Restaurant Director will work closely with the Restaurant Director to oversee restaurant operations, drive profitability, and ensure outstanding guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and a passion for excellence in food and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including service quality, staffing, and inventory. Support in training, supervising, and motivating the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Oversee staff scheduling and ensure efficient labour management. Monitor and uphold hygiene, safety, and service standards in compliance with regulatory requirements. Work with the Director to develop operational strategies, cost control measures, and sales initiatives. Handle guest feedback professionally and ensure prompt resolution of issues. Support marketing and promotional activities to drive business growth.

Requirements:

Diploma or higher in Hospitality, F&B Management, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or assistant managerial role in the restaurant industry. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage teams and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of restaurant financials, inventory systems, and service standards. Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as required.
