Senior Manager/Assistant Director (Temp), Finance
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join WoodlandsHealth as Assistant Director (Finance) on a 5-month temporary assignment to provide maternity coverage. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead critical finance operations in a dynamic healthcare environment whilst supporting our team during this transition period.
Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve charge code creation and updates following team processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organisational standards
• Oversee National Billing System (NBS) operations, including approval of service requests for bill corrections, incident resolution testing, and user acceptance testing for system changes
• Monitor NBS RPA ATL bill checking processes and escalate issues as required
• Stay current with NBS 2.0 developments and assess impact on WoodlandsHealth operations
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the finance team on daily operational queries and user support matters
• Lead and review month-end closing activities, including manual cost recovery processes, doctor surcharge calculations, and overhead allocations
• Support team preparation for CoSy system implementation
• Conduct financial reviews including average bill size analysis and variance reporting
• Establish budget parameters and develop current year forecast models for average bill sizing
• Review and process Public Healthcare Institution requests to GovWG for central code and rules updates
• Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests and special projects as required

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting with 8-10 years progressive experience
• Minimum 3-5 years in supervisory/management roles
• Strong healthcare billing systems experience, preferably NBS
• Proven financial analysis, budgeting, and team leadership capabilities
• Immediate availability for 5-month temporary assignment preferred
