If you share our vision and possess the qualities we seek, join us!What you will be working on:You will be part of the Human Resource (HR) team responsible for performance management, compensation, benefits and awards management in MOT. You will lead in the review and implementation of performance management related policies and processes to recognise and reward officers. Your responsibilities include administering payroll and benefits related payments, setting and reviewing MOT specific policies in these areas, as well as providing and monitoring the overall HR budget. Under awards management, you will work closely with other MOT divisions and SBs for awards nominations, such as the National Day Awards and Long Service Awards. Lastly, as part of the overall HR team, you will oversee the HR system in terms of system access and liaison with our shared services agency - Vital.What we are looking for:You should be able to conceptualize and articulate policies and have excellent written and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is meticulous, self-driven, resourceful and works well under tight deadlines, with at least 3 to 6 years of HR experience. He/she can work well both independently and in teams, depending on needs. Tech savvy candidate with proficiency in Microsoft applications and SAP based HR systems as well as third-party vendor management will be an advantage.About Ministry of Transport:The Mission of Ministry of Transport is to develop Singapore\'s land, sea and air transport sectors so as to enhance our economic competitiveness and quality of life in a knowledge-based economy. MOT oversees the development and regulation of the following sectors: \xe2\x80\xa2 Civil Aviation and Air Transport \xe2\x80\xa2 Maritime and Ports \xe2\x80\xa2 Land Transport Besides providing an efficient and cost-effective transportation in Singapore, it also strives to make Singapore an international civil aviation and maritime centre for the region. The ministry sets the strategic and policy direction while operations and regulatory works are carried out by the statutory boards under its charge. There are four statutory boards which are established by Acts of Parliament: the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the Public Transport Council (PTC). The ministry also oversees the operation of the Transport Safety Investigation Bureau (TSIB).
