What the role is:You will be part of a dynamic team that safeguards and advances Singapore's strategic environmental, water and food interests through international engagements. Working closely with local and foreign stakeholders, you will play an important part in making Singapore a liveable and sustainable city.What you will be working on:Your key responsibilities include: Monitoring and analysing global developments and assessing their implications on Singapore's sustainability and environmental policies. Formulating strategies and policy responses to advance Singapore's international interests in environment, water, and food. Representing Singapore at bilateral and multilateral platforms on environment, water, and food to advance and safeguard our interests. Profiling Singapore's sustainability and environmental credentials at international meetings to showcase thought-leadership and create mindshare. Planning and supporting the participation of Singapore's political office holders and senior officials at high-level international meetings. Facilitating and curating visits by foreign VIPs.What we are looking for:

• Strong interest in sustainability and environmental issues. Tertiary qualifications with 1 - 5 years of working experience. Fresh graduates may also apply. Strong writing, communication and analytical skills, including ability to present complex issues in a clear and concise manner to different audiences; Resilient in working in a fast-paced environment, including ability to adapt to changing situations and circumstances; Possess initiative, problem solving skills and able to work independently; Willingness to travel.
