What you will be working on:
1) Map out and conduct engagements with stakeholder groups, opinion and community leaders 2) Analyse and understand sentiments and concerns within the community, to co-create community initiatives and improve communications to strengthen social cohesion 3) Work across agencies and Government to raise awareness of potential social fault lines, and formulate policies and programmes to effectively address them
What we are looking for:
Work Experience: 1) Essential - o At least 3 years of relevant industry experience o Experience in team leadership, with focus on programme planning, stakeholder engagement or public communications 2) Additional advantages - o Prior management experience at junior to middle management positions o Background in community grant management and assessment o Strong track record of senior stakeholder engagement Competency Requirements: 1) Clear and Concise Writing o Express main ideas clearly and concisely in writing. o Confident in preparing and staffing policy recommendations to senior leadership 2) Design for Implementation and Communication o Formulate policies that integrate strategic communications and Government-community partnership considerations from inception, ensuring effective and sustained public engagement 3) Stakeholder Engagement o Strategically identify, analyse, and prioritise stakeholders across diverse domains, developing targeted engagement approaches. o Build and maintain effective relationships with varied stakeholders, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and aligning partnerships with policy and organisational goals. 4) Data-driven Policy Analysis o Utilises data analytics to review existing policies, programmes, and initiatives, assessing their effectiveness and impact o Develops evidence-based recommendations for new or improved community engagement and stakeholder partnership strategies Personal Attributes: o Dynamic and self-motivated individual o Strong organisational and coordination skills with ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment o Able to work effectively both independently and in teams o Passionate about working with diverse ethnic and religious communities Shortlisted applicants will be notified within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
