JOB DESCRIPTION: Position Title: Assistant Electrical Engineer Working Location: Toa Payoh North, Singapore 318993 Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday: 9.30 am – 5.30 pm) Salary Package: Basic + 14 days Annual Leave + Performance Bonus Duration: Permanent Monthly Salary: $1,900 to $2,500

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in Thermal Imaging Infrared Inspections at job sites (identify overheating, defective, or overloaded electrical & mechanical components). Generation of Post-inspection Infrared Reports (using Flir Thermal Studio software). To provide advisory recommendations for problem areas of faulty equipment. Performing preventive maintenance on Automatic Voltage Stabilisers, UPS, and associated voltage regulating equipment.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 1 Year of hands-on experience in the Electrical industry Education from Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering; Nitec in Electrical Technology (Power & Control), Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Able to speak Mandarin as there is a need to liaise with Mandarin-speaking vendors and clients.

DEEP SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Basic knowledge of essential electrical components, and building mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems.
• Familiar with Infrared Thermal Inspections for maintenance applications.
• Operations, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical installations & equipment.

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS TO HAVE:

• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Docs and Sheets.
• Deep interest in Infrared Thermography Technology.
• Possess a passion for power quality optimisation.
• Good management and organisation skills.
