Job Purpose
To perform day-to-day coordination, inspection and supervision of all new ad-hoc, addition and alteration project works regarding Developer Interfacing Connection, External Parties such as PUB, HDB, etc and LTA at Main Lines, Circle Line, Bukit Panjang Light Rail, Down Town Lines and Thomson Lines; and to ensure that all works are carried out are in accordance with the relevant Quality Procedures, Specifications & Standards, Work Safety requirements and Railway Operation procedures.
Be Main Co Ordinator and Technical Co Ordinator for A&A Projects
Responsibilities
1. Attend & co-ordinate inaugural meeting and post award meeting with the requestor and contractor to kick-off the project work and establish on areas of responsibilities.
2. Plan and supervise all contract works are carried out in accordance with the relevant quality procedures, specifications & standards, Risk Assessment, Work Safety Manual and Railway Operation Procedures.
3. Carry-out the role of SPIC duties and responsibilities, as per necessary.
4. Attend staff training for training development to improve productivity and safety.
5. Prepare monthly progress of project, plan work schedules and submit inspection records and work completion records as per contract requirements.
6. Process on permit to work and isolation of fire protection system and preparing work attendance record.
7. Assist to investigate on incident and follow-up actions on the recommendation to prevent recurrence.
8. Attend handover inspection for work upon completion (including handling over of spares if applicable) to requestor or respective Line Maintenance Team.
9. Conduct Tools Box Briefings and Risk Assessment Briefing for project work.
10. To coordinate and arrange meeting for each phase of work till approval obtained to commence work.
11. To co-ordinate staff from across various disciplines for documents clearance and site works.
12. To arrange handover to final custodian e.g. CSE Maintenance, including update of as built drawings, manuals and maintenance boundary plans to Plans, relevant custodian, etc.
13. Registration of Document received from external party.
14. Scan the Document and upload into the KMS.
15. Dissemination of Document to Reviewers.
16. Compiling of Document comments and sending to external party.
Qualifications & Work Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in buildings/estate/facilities maintenance and ground supervision.
Able to communicate effectively and good team player.
Diploma in Civil/Structural/Building/Estate Management.
Well versed in MS Office
Skills
The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge on the building facilities management.
Has an eye for details and proficient with the Safety practices.
Demonstrate good leadership and supervisory skills.
Familiar with Railway Operating Environment, regulation, and practices.
