Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for an Assistant Engineer:
Job Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging and conveying equipment, facilities, and electrical systems.
• Supervise mechanical and electrical fault troubleshooting across pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure prompt response to equipment breakdowns and facilitate rapid recovery of operations.

• Utilise Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to monitor parts failures and plan maintenance strategies.
• Plan and coordinate shutdown maintenance activities and vendor engagements for fabrication works.
• Define and manage equipment critical spares inventory.
• Lead the commissioning process and documentation of new equipment installations.
• Prepare detailed maintenance reports and present findings to management.
• Drive root cause analysis and collaborate with operations to reduce downtime.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence projects.
• Coach and mentor junior technicians and ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures.
• Procure replacement parts from approved vendors when needed.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of AC drives, motors, pneumatic systems, and conveyor technologies.
• Ability to read and use electrical single-line diagrams.

• Proficient in debugging and modifying PLC programs and familiar with low voltage distribution boards (DB).
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in automation system maintenance.
• Willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and respond to standby duties when necessary.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and documentation skills.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 3,500 +VB (1.5 Months)
• Working Location: Jurong Island
• Shift Hours: Day Shift - 8am to 8pm | Night Shift - 8pm to 8am
