Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities:

• Supervise the maintenance team and support the Senior Engineer/Engineer/Senior Assistant Engineer/SMS Signalling in the maintenance of the signalling and platform screen door system in Downtown Line to ensure a safe and reliable system
• Lead and supervise a maintenance system in the maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance plan, maintenance procedure and safety plan
• Plan, organise and ensure scheduled maintenance activities are performed in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule
• Organise and ensure failures are responded to and recitifed within reasonable time
• Compile fault data and remedial works performed
• Participate in the investigations and fault analysis of persistence faults and implementation of remedial actions
• Prepare maintenance and fault reports to supervisor
• Assist in the general documentation, such as proper filing and updating of all manuals, drawings, modification, fault reports and work done records
• Participate in the admininistration of the maintenance logistics required to ensure proper functioning of all maintenance activities
• Expected to drive company vehicle in the course of performing duty
• Ensure proper house keeping and security of signalling maintenance offices, workshops and equipment rooms in stations and depot
• Participate in the safety inspection and auditing of the signalling and platform screen door system

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechatronics/Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply
• Prior working experience in Railway Signalling will be an added advantage
• Possess a Class 3 driving licence (manual transmission)
• Strong people, planning and organising skills
• Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Result oriented, self motivated and a team player
• Able to supervise maintenance team and work with people at all levels
• Ability to identify colours
• Able to perform 3 rotating shifts
