Job Purpose
Assistant Engineer, Track Infrastructure Maintenance & Operational Engineering, is responsible to lead a team of Technical Officers to perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of the railway infrastructure system. Subject to deployment, the scope can include the track, third rail, point, viaduct, tunnel, station and/or depot infrastructure assets. To operate equipment, locomotives and/or specialized track maintenance vehicles to perform the inspection and maintenance works, to lead the team in performing fault attendance, fault diagnosis tests, troubleshooting, repairs and modifications to the railway infrastructure assets. Also to contribute on workflow improvements and manages the team\'s performance in achieving established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Involved in the management of contractors and stakeholders and ensuring the achievement of operating standards and quality standards and conduct training and assessment in his area of expertise as required.
