What the role is:Responsible for the proper recording and accounting of all SGC fixed assets (FA), project costs and inventory to facilitate proper cost control and monitoring.What you will be working on:

• Ensure timely recording of purchased assets \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure proper capitalization of WIP upon completion \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform asset verification/tagging, including IT assets with proper documentations \xe2\x80\xa2 Review inventorised assets listing \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and review yearly stocktake \xe2\x80\xa2 Review stock count sheet and stock take reports \xe2\x80\xa2 Review and ensure timely payments \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure timely GST and intercompany reconciliation \xe2\x80\xa2 Update of policies/SOPs \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure process efficiency, identify and implement areas for improvements \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate in new system or process implementation

What we are looking for:

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent, with at least 2 years of general accounting experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Sense of initiative and responsibility with the ability to work with minimal supervision \xe2\x80\xa2 Analytical and meticulous, able to work as a team \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal and communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work in dynamic environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Well versed in using various computerized accounting systems and familiar with ERP applications e.g. Oracle \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient with MS Office especially Excel
