Assistant Executive Housekeeper

The role of the Assistant Executive Housekeeper is to oversee cleaning professionals in a 4-star hotel, supporting Executive Housekeeper and ensuring that their cleaning is done in an effective and timely fashion.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Executive Housekeeper in all aspects of his/her responsibility for the cleanliness and orderliness of the hotel.
  • Assumes responsibility for Housekeeping Department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Be an active team player with a hands-on approach when manpower is in shortage.
  • Supervise and manage daily staff assignments and ensure adequate housekeeping coverage.
  • Decision making and problem solving in housekeeping associates and operational conflicts.
  • Train and monitor room attendants daily to ensure that standards of service and cleanliness are understood and followed.
  • Recognize and report all missing, damaged or sub-standard fixtures and equipment.
  • Overall knowledge of hotel operations and maximize guests satisfaction index.

Job Requirements:
  • Preferably Executives specializing in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent
  • Able to work on rotation shifts, weekends and public holidays
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice period
