Working hours: Mon \xe2\x80\x93 Thu 8.30am \xe2\x80\x93 6pm, Fri 8.30am-5.30pm

Job title: Assistant Executive (Scholarships) - 1 pax

Salary ranges from : below $2,200 - $3,000depending on qualification and relevant working experience.

Requirement

• Diploma in Marketing & Publicity related
• Experience in Marketing & Publicity for at least 2-3yrs
• Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access
• Basic knowledge of Outlook
• Class 3 driving license (it will be good if can drive)

Job scope for Scholarships * HR administration and engagement of Scholarship and Sponsorship recipients

• Organisation of outreach events such as Youth@SPF, Aspiring Leaders Programme, SPF Book Prize selection day, Women-in-Policing, Home Team Discover series, and school/career fairs
• Support in the following miscellaneous HR tasks:

• Coordinating of the Singapore Police Force Scholarship (SPFS) and MHA Scholarships Award Ceremony at the Istana with Minister of Home Affairs and Law as the Guest-of-Honour
• Marketing and publicity for Scholarship (e.g., The Straits Times Scholars\xe2\x80\x99 Choice and BrightSparks media buys; Scholarship campaign)
• Support in the multiple new recruitment initiatives which the Scholarship team is embarking on in view of Permanent Secretary\xe2\x80\x99s direction to ramp up talent attraction efforts to boost interest in and take-up of MHA Scholarships, particularly SPFS:

• Exploring bond-free lower tiered scholarship
• Sending Pre- and Post-Examination packages to students
• Curating \xe2\x80\x9cBeyond SPF\xe2\x80\x9d series of videos featuring senior SPF leaders and their secondment opportunities
• Scholarship outreach to National Police Cadet Corps Junior College 2 Cadet Inspectors
• Implementing the Vacation Attachment Programmes for overseas scholars (e.g., internship with Homefront Security Investigation)
• Trial-ing \xe2\x80\x9cEducation and Career Guidance Session\xe2\x80\x9d with a SPF scholar where students can have one-to-one career sessions with a scholar situated at their schools
• Forming of Scholarship Committee to look into how to improve the appeal of the SPFS
• Exploring with Home Team Scholarship Centre on Provisional-scholars to attend C-Course instead of Officer Cadet School to be eligible for the SPFS
• Revamping of the SPF Recruitment website with infographics to make it easier to understand for students
• Curating of Current Affairs Booklet to prepare candidates for Public Service Commission interviews
