Our esteemed client is seeking an

Assistant Export Control Manager

to support and strengthen governance across defence and strategic goods exports. This role sits at the intersection of compliance, regulation, and stakeholder advisory within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage import/export policies and procedures in compliance with the Singapore Customs Act and U.S. Export Control Regulations Advise internal stakeholders and respond to end-user queries on export control and trade compliance matters Monitor and interpret local and international trade regulations, including customs, export controls, and trade restrictions Establish and maintain best practices for export-controlled items, including documentation across the asset lifecycle Prepare compliance documentation and maintain audit-ready records for internal reviews and regulatory inspections Support and coordinate export compliance training and awareness initiatives

Requirements

Experience in export control, trade compliance, or governance roles Strong knowledge of the Singapore Strategic Goods (Control) Act Familiarity with U.S. Export Control Regulations (ITAR, EAR) is an advantage Exposure to defence, military, or highly regulated technology industries preferred Singaporeans Only
