About the Roles

This permanent Assistant Finance Manager / Accountant position is based in Pioneer with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8.30am to 5.30pm. The role offers a competitive basic salary with

What You'll Be Doing

Establish and uphold financial policies and internal controls Maintain accurate accounts and produce monthly financial statements Manage month-end and year-end closing activities Oversee and coordinate internal and external audit processes Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and timely GST and tax submissions Assess risks and suggest improvements to processes and business operations Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning Organize financial documentation and ensure adherence to procedures Communicate with auditors, banks, tax agents, and other stakeholders Guide and develop members of the finance team Manage ad hoc financial projects and reporting requests Undertake additional duties assigned by management

What We're Looking For

A diploma or degree in accounting or finance Three to five years of relevant experience, including full set of accounts and closing activities Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Understanding of GST requirements and local tax regulations
