We are seeking an exceptional

Assistant Finance Manager

to assist our Finance team and lead our financial strategy, operations, and compliance as we scale our crypto trading business globally. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, highly regulated, and technology-driven environment.

What Will You Do at Quant Matter?

Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity planning to optimize capital allocation. Accounting Operations: Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting for multi-asset trading. Compliance & Taxation: Ensure financial compliance, tax filings, and audits related to trading and digital assets. Risk & P&L Reporting: Monitor profit & loss statements, trading expenses, and financial risks. Process Optimization: Implement automation and data-driven financial workflows for efficiency. Advisory Role: Provide financial insights to trading teams and leadership for strategic decision-making. Lead all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and budgeting, across global entities. Oversee crypto asset accounting, treasury management, and liquidity strategy. Ensure compliance with global financial regulations (MAS, SEC, FCA, etc.), including tax, AML/KYC, and crypto reporting standards. Support strategic decision-making with accurate, real-time financial insights and performance metrics.

Our Ideal Candidates Would Have:

Minimum 10 years of experience in finance & accounting, preferably in fintech, trading, hedge funds, or crypto markets. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CFA preferred). Candidates with Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from the Institute of Singapore (ISCA) is preferred. Strong understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and digital assets. Experience with trading finance, P&L reconciliation, and fund accounting. Experienced in cryptocurrencies or derivatives transactions. Proficiency in financial software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) & Excel modeling. Strong organizational and time management skills. Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
