The Company

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high performing UK privately owned Shipping Group. Due to evolving business needs, we are currently recruiting for a Assistant Finance Manager to be based in Singapore office.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and working in a team, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance and accounting duties including monthly consolidation of group management reports, ensure timely and accurate monthly accounting and reporting, play a supporting role in group consolidation and various reporting and presentation materials. Work closely with overseas counterparts in UK, China and India on accounting and financial matters. Assist to prepare statutory accounts in accordance to IFRS and coordinate the year end audit process. Other key responsibilities include reviewing payroll, GST filing and other statutory compliance and reporting for government grants, assisting in private equity shares and other ad hoc assignments.

Your Profile

To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial and management accounting and reporting. It will be beneficial to have exposure to group consolidation and experience in Navision accounting system. It is mandatory to be proficient in Excel (advance level). We are looking for a meticulous, hands-on team player with a positive work attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
