Responsibilities:
Regional Reporting and Analysis

• Play a key role in coordination and preparation of the various reports to support business review and decision making related to the ASEAN region. This may include actual monthly reports, forecasts, budgets and strategic business analysis.
• Engagement with country finance teams to understand the underlying data and provide guidance to align reporting.
• Review financial processes in the countries and propose best practices for alignment.

Finance Partner to the Business Units

• Provide pro-active support to the business units assigned. This would include review, analyse and provide recommendation on revenue recognition, project profitability and optimisation of costs.
• Provide comprehensive actual financial performance vs. budget variance and trend analysis of financials with insightful commentaries on a monthly basis.
• Compute key financial indicators and measures to optimise the financial decision-making by Business Units.
• Preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecast for the Business Units.
• Provide advisory to Business Units on tax implications and potential tax exposure for existing projects and new business opportunities.

Change Management and Data

• Support the transition and changes in management reporting requirements and processes.
• Support the various process change initiatives that will allow harmonisation across the region and continual process re-engineering.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 7 to 10 years of working experience in financial planning and analysis related role
• Experience in building consultancy industry is a plus
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Willing to travel when required
